We are looking for a software development intern who is a dynamic and diverse team of repetitive, critical programs of repetitive phrasing, challenging, problem-solving, and wanting to be a member of a highly-skilled DevOps team. You will be at the forefront of technological analysis, software automation, and addressing our customer needs, evolving in developing systems.
As our code name: “Dogpatch” software team, you will work directly with domain experts and technical staff to support products integrated into the Lockheed Martin “Skunk Work” product line. However, we can’t let you know. Once you’ve been summarized in the program, you can be one of the most interesting and fruitful missions you can be a part of this position!
Our internal experience focuses on building the ‘next generation of engineers’. We offer a work ‘friend’ to introduce you to your colleagues and peers to help you agree to a new team, determine your development environment, help you with your work assignments, and help you feel like a part of our team. You are supported by an in-house organization that hosts seminars to enhance your technical and professional business skills further, create social events and team-building practices, and collaborate on a ‘summer project’ to enhance your existing engineering skills. College students have actively enrolled in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or another related degree program from a recognized college/university. You should be familiar with object-oriented programming or scripting languages. You must have written and oral communication skills as well as a good idea of software development principles.
- Choose to experience the Windows environment using MS Visual Studio.
- Experience with creative software development and tools like JIRA, Jenkins, Solidarity, GIT, and Bitcoin is a bonus.
